In articles about Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, or Mark Cuban, the JustLikeUs extension changes dollar amounts to be relative to that of an average American of a similar age. The purpose of this extension is to help give perspective on the magnitude of these men's wealth.
Please note that this was programmed as a learning exercise. It changes the amounts only if the person's name is in the page title, and only adjusts dollar amounts in a certain format, for example "$250 billion", since this is the format most often used in articles like this. Exact figures such as $250,000,000,000.00 would not be changed, though those are very rarely seen in the types of articles I am attempting to work with.
Any amount changed will be highlighted in light green, so you can see which figures have been changed and which have not.
It's just for fun! Am I making a statement? Yes. The battle is not left vs. right but rich vs. poor. We have far more in common with our friends on the other side of the aisle than we ever will with these men.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
