Binder is an extension that adds even more features to the omnibar. It adds custom searches and Bindings. Type in a word in the omnibox and it will take you to the corresponding site. In the options screen you can link certain words to certain websites.
Start by choosing from a number of standard bindings that help you get on your way using this exentsion. You can suggest more sites to me by contacting me, and i'll add these to the standard bindings.
Additionally you can search a lot of sites using this extension directly from the omnibox. Some examples are youtube, google, and wikipedia. The best part is, you can add your own websites and add them to your bindings. Search the website you want easily and from the extension.
You can also transfer Bindings from Computer to Computer. Just send the text to the other computer and synchronise your bindings.
Also by using supersearch you don't even have to type enter, and using chrome's abilty to link a shortcut to an extension, it is as simple as pressing your shortcut and then typing in the word.
This saves you a lot of time considering you can also use it to go into subpages, in example a specific youtube video linked to your binding. This way you don't have to go to youtube and then find the video.
This extension is developed by Sander Ronde and the page design has been done by Joen Bastiaens. You can contact the developer at: [email protected].
Good luck!
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
