Developers, contribute to this project on GitHub to help make this extension as close as possible to the functionality of the old New Tab Page in Chrome.
Some features of the old New Tab page may not be possible or may not work exactly the same due to limitations in the chrome APIs. Even though this is the case, please still submit these kinds of issues to the GitHub page. If an API limitation prevents fixing an issue, then I will indicate it in the comments for the issue and will revisit the issue if/when the needed API is available.
