Are you tired of leaving your Facebook page open, only to return to your computer and find that a friend has "hacked" your status and posted something embarrassing?
This simple extension removes the "Post" button wherever it appears (on your Facebook Newsfeed, and on your Timeline); thwarting their attempts to hack your status since they won't be able to click "Post" and share a status on your unwilling behalf.
It's way easier than having to remember to log out or lock your computer every time.
IMPORTANT: However, you'll still want to post statuses yourself - to do so, simply click the discrete blue double quotes icon "" on the right side of your search bar, and things will return to normal! It's very unlikely that anyone will discover this functionality on their own.
Anytime you click that icon, it will toggle the "Post" button's appearance on and off.
New in Version 1.1: Fixed a bug that would cause other buttons on Facebook to be disabled.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
