So this technically means that if you have a pet, and you love that pet, you are automatically a pet lover at PetsNotes. Well, this brings us to question what the word “pet” really means.
Google pet and get this meaning: A domestic or tamed animal or bird kept for companionship or pleasure and treated with care and affection.

Undomesticated animals treated with love and affection are considered pets too. By a lot of people who don’t rely on google, at least. These people are probably the ones in a quandary over dogs or cats, thereby choosing neither.

Its really hard to explain why some people want to raise wild animals as pets. Take for example, the ubiquitous tarantula. Why keep it in the house when there’s a possibility that one day you’d be looking at an empty and open tarantula container? Does that possibility allow you to enjoy the thrill of the danger, perhaps?

So why do people raise wild animals as pets? Is it for the sheer love for the animal? The ultimate challenge being optimistically hurdled? Or is it because wild animals are a lot harder to take care of. This is where ego comes in. Surely ego plays a big role. Making a vegetarian out of a crocodile is the exact impossibility that could get the people at Nat Geo Wild wanting your story.

But its best to leave these animals alone. I mean it’s best to leave these animals in their natural habitat to avoid the lifelong effects of the trauma they suffer from being pulled out of their home.

Exotic pets are best left alone. They’re not easily domesticated and their wild instincts will always dominate their activities that it’s just not safe to have them around you.
