I like to keep references in my code so that when I look over my code in the future, I can easily check what inspiration I had for my solution or what other paths lead me to the solution I ended up with.
If the answer that you want to remember to check out isn't the accepted answer, or gets down-voted over time as new solutions are possible, just having a link to the question may not be helpful.
This extension will automatically copy a link to your clipboard with the HTML id attribute of the answer you choose appended to the url, giving you an easy way to paste a direct link to that answer into your code comments.
