Browser Focus helps you stay on task when using the internet. If you remain honest when using the tool it might help enforce good internet use practises that help prevent compulsive internet use.
Using the extension is very simple, here's how to:
- When opening a new tab you'll be prompted to enter your task for this browsing session. It's best to be as specific as you can.
- On every page you visit there'll be a task reminder at the bottom of the screen.
- When clicking on link you'll be asked whether following this link will help you achieve this task. Don't lie now, the extension will know!(well not really, but honesty is the best policy!)
