Today's web browsers have failed in some key areas of web browsing such as tab clutter, tab management, limited value in browser history and lack of ease of use in using bookmarks etc. While tabs make browsing convenient, they also add to visual clutter and distract you away from the task at hand. This is because browsers operate at the level of individual web pages, and rarely understand your high-level tasks.
Sailboat addresses this problem by compartmentalizing the web browsing experience across different tasks defined by you, making your browsing more focused and mindful. It also lets you create your 'personal web' and search through the page content of the pages you 'archive'.
IMPORTANT: Please backup your bookmarks and tabs before installing sailboat. Things shouldn't go wrong but sometimes they do.
