Well those days are over, with this new super straightforward plugin called StarshipGoogle.
It's a terrible name, but an awesome plugin. As you scroll down a wikipedia page, it detects the topic headers and uses a chrome notification to prompt you to learn more. Simply click the notification to fire off a new tab with the googles!
