Kats unleashed customizes kat.tv styles through( js-css-injection ), takes care of all their annoying advertisements & adds 3 new functions: highlight-text-search / kats-search-field:( found within extension user interface (UI) ), trailers: searches youtube channel( Movieclips ) for video-trailers & embeds results found, download: integrates Bitlord to implement torrent downloads.
1) Within the 'search-kick-ass-torrents.tv...' search field type a query ( either the name of a movie, tv show or the name of a member of the cast ) & hit enter on your keyboard.
2) Visit any website find something you want to watch, highlight the name of it & click this addons icon to auto-search selected text.
3) Within kat.tv, the 2 new buttons in our custom-topbar, 'Embeds' & 'Download' are active( on any 'kat.tv/watch' page & blocked on other urls of kat ). In addition a 'Trailer' button will present itself ( approximately 15 sec after landing on a watch page ). Click 'Embed' to show additional file sharing server embeds & tv-series-season-episode-links. Click 'Download' to search Bitlord for torrents of [any-kat.tv-video]. Click 'Trailer' to get yt-trailer-embed result displayed in watch-page of video.
3.1) Download function depends on an installation of the Bitlord client application, you can download it free from bitlord.com.
IMPORTANT! While at kat.tv this program checks each second for additional tabs & windows & closes tabs & windows that are not either allowed by you( 'Allowed List' ) or within our default list ['kat.tv', 'bitlord.com' & 'youtube.com']. This function is responsible for the removal of unwanted tabs & window( popups / ads ) that may occur while at kat.tv.
Within this extensions UI you'll notice an array of buttons [ 'toggle input field', 'Quit', 'History', 'Clear History' & 'Clear Allowed' ] Click 'toggle input field' to open the 'Allowed List' pane, within you can set urls that you do not want this program to close. ( NOTE: urls in allowed list are only allowed in additional tabs, all windows except the current window will still close ). Type urls or part of into the input field, then close the UI & reopen it for changes to take effect. Within this pane there is also a 'remove item' button which you can use to remove any given item in your allowed list ( to remove the first item click the up arrow until '1' is displayed & click 'remove item' etc etc. Changes take effect after the UI is closed & reopened.(NOTE: undesirable functionality may occur if this UI is not closed & reopened, after adding or removing an item). Outside the allowed list pane within UI the 'Clear Allowed' button will delete all items in your allowed list.
UI button 'Quit' if clicked will stop this program from removing tabs & windows, restoring a usual browser experience.
UI button 'History' if clicked will display everything you have search at kat.tv from our custom kats search field, & button 'Clear History' will clear all history records stored.
