This extension detects when you are viewing PDF files in Chrome PDF Viewer and activates the conversion icon whenever PDF file is detected. Click the extension icon to convert the current PDF document to plain text.
This extension uses Google Drive technology to perform the conversion. The extension works by uploading the PDF document to Google drive then downloading it as a text file. It will clear the temporary file after the conversion completes.
On first use, extension will ask permission to use Google Drive. The requested scope is strictly limited to the files created by the extension i.e. the "drive.file" scope. Extension cannot see any of your other drive files.
