Şeyh’ul İslam İbni Teymiyye Hicri 661'de doğdu. 67 yaşındayken, kafirlerin tutuklu olarak tuttuğu Dımaşk Kalesi'ndeki hapishanede, vefat etti.
İbn Teymiyye'ye dünya üzerinde binlerce iftira atılmıştır. Bunların hepsi müşrik, münafık, kafir kişilerin uydurmalarıdır. Kısa kısa maddelerle açıklamak gerekirse,
İBN TEYMİYYE;
1. Ehli sunnet vel cemaat bir alimdir.
2. Kafirlerin uydurduğu gibi ölmeden önce HAK olan görüşlerinden dönmemiştir.
3. Kur'an ve hadis ehli olduğu için, uzun yıllarca hapsedilmiş ve işkencelere maruz kalmıştır.
4. Ashabın ve Ehl-i Beyt'in tümünü sever.
5. Sahabelerden herbirinin kadrinin ve faziletinin apaçık olduğunu söyler.
6. Kur'an ayetlerinde; tahrif yapmaz. Değiştirmez. Yalnızca onunla geleni söyler.
7. Kur'an ayetlerinin ALLAH tarafından gönderilen yüce bir vahiy olduğunu söyler.
