Barang yang ingin dibeli dapat dicari terlebih dahulu pada website eBay.com. Fitur search pada ebay dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah pencarian barang.
Setelah barang yang sekiranya ingin dibeli sudah didapatkan, maka logo JP di bagian atas kanan browser chrome (bagian extension) dapat diklik. Extension ini akan secara otomatis membuka website JasaPerantara.com yang telah berisi perincian biaya untuk pembelian barang tersebut.
Apabila muncul pesan error, maka silahkan dipastikan kembali bahwa sebelum melakukan klik logo JP, fokus halaman berada pada halaman salah satu barang di ebay. Untuk lelang / auction, setelah klik logo JP, silahkan dipilih jenisnya "Auction / Best Offer" dan klik Hitung.
