Markdown Exporter allows you to export your Google Doc to Markdown with a single click.
USAGE:
You can decide to Send by email or to Export to Drive.
Send by email:
You will receive a zip file that contains your Google Doc converted to markdown and all associated images . Just unzip the file and you are good to go.
Export to Drive:
If you export to your Drive, a folder called "markdown" will be created where your current Google Doc file is. Inside this folder you will find "index.md" and "assets/". "index.md" is your doc file converted to markdown. "assets/" is a directory containing all images
FEATURES:
- converts images to html so that width and height attributes are passed to your markdown file
- tables are converted using Github Flavored Markdown specificationb
KNOWN LIMITATIONS:
- Due to Google Drive Api limitation, it's currently not possible to export animated gif images.
